How to use PETSc with sunf90?

I guess I was indicating that generally gcc/g++/gfortran can be used
for developemnt.

[Or you can continue to use the current hack for gcc/g++/sunf90]

I guess it works fine on 32bit linux - but not 64bit linux. [Your
PETSc install attempt was on 64bit linux - on this it breaks when
compling a simple code.]
