[petsc-dev] make error

Hello,

I ran cd $PETSC_DIR then make all but I get this error

  Error during compile, check gnu-c-debug/lib/petsc/conf/make.log
  Send it and gnu-c-debug/lib/petsc/conf/configure.log to
petsc-maint at mcs.anl.gov

make: *** [GNUmakefile:9: all] Error 2
