Very clearly it ends with testing the things users SPECIFICALLY ASKED US TO
on the configure command line.

This is just nonsensical. We know its correct because we tested it.


What most experimenters take for granted before they begin their
experiments is infinitely more interesting than any results to which their
experiments lead.
