[petsc-dev] I have a problem in using Petsc

Hi:

I am s student from UIUC Hydro.
I type in this in terminal:wgy at ubuntu:~/petsc-dev$ ./configure
--download-mpich=yes --download-hdf5=yes. But the result is :TESTING: check
from
config.libraries(config/BuildSystem/config/libraries.py:133)*******************************************************************************
         UNABLE to CONFIGURE with GIVEN OPTIONS    (see configure.log for
details):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Downloaded hdf5 could not be used. Please check install in
/home/wgy/petsc-dev/arch-linux2-c-debug

Could you help me to deal with this problem?
