Hi Luis.  I would suggest maybe trying to install the gfortran or g95
packages.  

It could also be that something *else* is going wrong in the configure
process.  If gfortran or g85 doesn't work, please send the
configure.log output.

Also, you might want to subscribe to the mailing list.  To reduce
spam, we have the list set to subscriber-only.  I found your message
in the moderation queue, but there's so much spam that I might not
find it next time.
