ok, this is in CVS now.  Even though I too am unable to think why you
would need an info object, there is probably some file system
somewhere that needs it. 

The new function is 
int ncmpi_delete(char *fname, MPI_Info info) 

and there's also a fortran 'nfmpi_delete' analog.
