[MPICH2-dev] MPICH2 0.971-rc1

The first release candidate for MPICH2 0.971 is available for download from
ftp://ftp.mcs.anl.gov/pub/mpi/mpich2/mpich2-0.971-rc1.tar.gz.

In addition to several bug fixes, the 0.971 release includes new end user
documentation in the form of a User Guide and an Installation Guide.  A more
detailed list of changes can be found in the CHANGES file, located in the
top-level directory.
