Hi,
Can you run the example MPI program, cpi.exe (C:\Program Files\MPICH2\examples\cpi.exe), from the command prompt ? Please remove the "-noprompt" option when running these examples.
Also try running your program on the command prompt without mpiexec and see if any error messages pop up.

Regards,
Jayesh

I'm now using MPICH2 1.4.1 64-bit, and in my codes I use IMSL library to generate a series of random of standard normal distribution by RNNOA, just like this CALL RNNOA(N,A), then I complied it, and use wmpiexec to run it, but after click Execute button ,their is no reaction with it. I think that it is because the MPICH2 could not find the IMSL, but I don't know how to set it. can you help me?

Hi,
thanks for your answer, my MPICH2 is working now, I have already tested the sample mpi program, it's working. And it also working well on my codes, but when imsl is added to my codes, it still not working, it has no reaction when the execute button is clicked.

Hi,
We recommend that you use the x86_64 installer to install MPICH2 on your system (Win7, x64).
The issue that you see during configure (wmpiconfig not recognizing the installation) is a known bug in wmpiconfig.exe. We just don't have the resources right now to fix this bug. However your MPICH2 installation should work correctly. Try running the sample mpi program, C:\Program Files\MPICH2\examples\cpi.exe, to see if MPICH2 works for you.

(PS: Follow instructions in Section 9.4, not 9.1, of the MPICH2 installer's guide to install MPICH2 on Win7)
Regards,
Jayesh

hello:
I'm now using the MPICH2 on my computer, and I have several questions about it, my computer is windows7 x64 , and I'm using intel fortran + vs2010 , the problems are as follows:
1, since my computer is 64-bit, so I try to install the x86-64 one downloaded from your website, but I failed to configure it on my computer, my smpd service is open, and I have registered ,but by clicking the scan hosts in the wmpiconfig the version section won't become green
2, since the 64-bit MPI is configure failed, I tried to install the 32-bit software, and this time I succeed. and I also can compi l e it in IVF, then set it running, but when I add IMSL to my codes, though the compile is succeed , but when I click the execute in the WMPIEXEC, it does not work, there is no reaction, but I must use the IMSL, so I hope you can help me.
very thanks
