[mpich-discuss] Credentials rejected

Hi Jayesh,
I uninstalled MPICH2, cleaned registry and re-installed. Run cpi.exe test
and worked fine, same with mpiexec -n 2 hostname. However, for my
Helloworld_MPI example, it was still giving me the error
*Error posting writev, An established connection was aborted by the
software in your host machine.(10053)
unable to post a write for the next command,
sock error: Error = 10053*
*unable to post a write of the close command to tear down the job tree as
part of the abort process.
unable to post an abort command.*
So, I went to ControlPanel->Programs and "repaired" MPICH2. Then, and only
then, a window pops up and asked that my program needed to go through the
Firewall (allowed everything). Recompiled and, magically, it now works.

I think I have an issue with Windows Firewall, but cannot solve it because
when I do "ControlPanel->WindowsFirewall->Allow programs to communicate
through firewall" , there is a message saying "The page cannot be loaded"
(see attached). I know this is not the forum for this question, but have
you/anybody ever seen this?? I could not find anything on the web regarding
this issue.
