[mpich-discuss] MPICH2 test not running properly

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your reply. I'm not accessing a network, I'm only trying to
run MPI code on my quad core machine. Have some questions regarding your
attached file

A) Points (1) and (2) of your file. I did not do the creation of MCNPDATA
and MCNP, I just followed instructions in MPICH2 installer's guide, page 20
(Windows version). However, all example seem to run correctly.
B) Point (7) of your file. I attached a file with "MPICH2 configuration
settings", something does not look right with my computer name "MPICH2 not
installed....". Will that be related to (E) below??
C) Point (9) of your file, I managed to successfully run the example for
cpi.exe. I do not understand what you mean by total CPU = 2/total number of
bars showing in taskbar.
D) When I compile my own HelloWorld MPI code the compile error message is
"Helloworld_MPI.c:20:50: fatal error: mpi.h: No such file or directory". My
path DOES point at MPICH2/bin and MPICH2/include .
E) My Windows Firewall under Control Panel says "The page cannot be loaded"
when I click on "Allow a program or feature to go through a firewall". I do
have Administrator rights.

Thanks again for your help.
