Sterling,
I have successfully compiled versions 1.4 and 1.51 of MCNP5 with MPICH2
on LINUX. I believe most compilers will work, though the specific
options will change a bit. I have personally used gcc and intel to
generate working executables.
If you have any specific questions, you can email me directly as I am
not sure the discussion will be appropriate the rest of the group (being
more mcnp specific).
Regards,
Dave

Subject: [mpich-discuss] Is anybody successfully using MPICH2 with MCNP5
I'm trying to get MPICH2 to work with MCNP5. I have mpich2 installed and
I can run simple codes on parallel processors OK. I also have mcnp5
installed to run on one machine and it works fine. The mcnp5
documentation deals with using mpich1 but ANL says they don't support
that any longer. So I'd like to see if anyone has been successful with
the two, mpich2 and mcnp5, running on parallel processors together. If
so, what compilers did you use with mcnp5 and did you use the install
script?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Sterling
