[mpich-discuss] Process Managers

SMPD and Hydra use different PMI wire protocols, so they are not 
compatible -- you cannot build MPICH2 to simultaneously support both.

Hydra is built by default and is the recommended process manager.

SMPD is not recommended unless you are using Windows.
