[mpich-discuss] ''Open SCMManager failed <error 5> '' what kind of this error is??

Intel i-7 core, Window 7 -64bit, that is my PC configuration I used.

 

I installed ‘mpich2-1.4.1p1-win-x86-64.msi’ in my PC.

 

After registered an account as PC-username, and went to ‘Wmpiconfig’,
clicked Scan hosts. 

 

But my Hosts state is not changed as green color. 

 

On configurable window, an error is seen as ‘’ MPICH2 not installed or
unable to query the host’’

 

So I went to the ‘comment console’ and commend as

 

C:\Program Files\MPICH2\bin>smpd -start

But error is made as ‘’OpenSCManager failed’’

 

Next, C:\Program Files\MPICH2\bin>smpd -uninstall

But error is made as ‘’OpenSCManager failed’’

 

Next, C:\Program Files\MPICH2\bin>smpd -install

But error is made as ‘’Unable to remove the previous installation,
install failed.’’

 

What is the problem I have?

 

Help me please…..
