[mpich-discuss] how to send a SIGUSR1 signal to mpiexec using BLCR?

Hi,

I was using BLCR in mpich2 to checkpoint/restart my mpi program. How can I
request a checkpoint manually?

In this document, I saw the following sentence:
"While the application is running, the user can request for a checkpoint at
any time by sending a SIGUSR1 signal to mpiexec."

I was wondering how I can do it in a specified point in the MPI code
itself. I tried some methods but didn't make it.

So any examples to do this?
