Wei,

The offending construct in hwloc's topology.c has been updated in mpich2-1.4rc2.
Could you try 1.4rc2 like the way you configured mpich2-1.3.2p1, i.e. using
pgcc/pgCC/pgf77/pgf90 ?  That way you can avoid PLPA and disabling any
hydra features.
