Hi!

Perhaps it would be a good idea to add the following to the MPICH2 FAQ in the 
section "2 Building MPICH2":

Q: How do I build a Subversion checkout of MPICH2 on Unix?

A: Make sure you have autoconf, automake and libtool installed. Then run the 
script "maint/updatefiles" within the MPICH2 source directory. This will 
generate the "./configure" script that can be subsequently used for the usual 
"./configure; make; make install" procedure.
