[mpich-discuss] rsh command error

i have windows xp os and i have installed cygwin.

now i was installing mpich2-1.3
i am at step 9.

i typed the command
rsh machinefile date
or more precisely
rsh /home/admin/mpich2-install/bin/machinefile.txt date


but i got the error
unknown host: rsh.exe can't establish connection.

guide me to get out of this problem. thanks.

i am attaching the installation guide using which i am installing mpich.
