Hi,
If you want to install MPICH2+Hydra on Windows we recommend users to install Cygwin and configure/make/make install from Cygwin (configure will automatically detect gcc for compiling MPICH2).
Let us know if it works for you.

Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich-discuss] Can Hydra be compiled with msvc2008

All,
I install mpich2-1.3.x-r7750 successfully on Ubuntu 10.10, and with the help of Hydra, my program can tolerate some degree of the process failure. Now, I attemp to compile mpich2-1.3.x-r7750 with msvc2008, but I failed! Infact, when I compiled mpich2-1.3.x-r7750, the compiler(msvc9) told me that it could not find a lot of header files.
Can mpich2-1.3.x-r7750 be compiled with msvc2008 (or MinGW)? may anyone give some advice to me to compile mpich2-1.3.x-r7750 for windows?
Thanks!
