Unfortunately, this patch seems to have a bunch of other dependency 
patches. The 1.3.x nightly snapshot for Hydra should be quite stable 
(http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2/downloads/tarballs/nightly/hydra/). 
Would you be able to use that in the meanwhile?

We are discussing internally if we should pull forward the next release 
to fix these issues.
