[mpich-discuss] mpi file operations do not work along nodes

Hi all,

Our application works flawlessly when using message passing functions
from mpich2
but when we use mpi_file functions the output file is created but no
data is written to the output file.
Also no temporary file is created by mpich2.

This problem only occurs when we run the application along multiple nodes,
if we use single node multiple processes the application works fine.

I tried disabling anti virus(Mcafee enterprise 8.7.0i) scanning on the
application and all files under the mpich2 install folder
and windows firewall but nothing changed.

We use Windows XP sp3 with MPICH2 1.2.1p.

Any ideas ?
