[mpich-discuss] mpi problem with "mpd &"

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it. At first I tried MPICH2-1.2.1p1, the latest version but gave me the same problem.

It is funny that it returns "alarm clock" as the hostname. MPICH2 1.1 is
an older version. Can you try with the latest version, 1.2.1p1?
