Hi,
Did you get any error messages during the installation process ? You have to launch the installer from an admin command prompt for the installation to succeed (Right-click on command prompt icon - select "Run as administrator" - Use msiexec utility, "msiexec /i mpich2-1.2.1p1-win-x86-64.msi", to install MPICH2 from the command prompt.).
And as Dave suggested we currently don't provide the wrapper utils with 64-bit version (These should be available in the upcoming version though) and hence no associated startup menu items.
Let us know if it helps.
Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich-discuss] mpich2 and windows 7
Good morning
I used mpich2 32 bit on windows xp and everything works well.
Now I am installing mpich2 64 bit on windows 7 but I have some problem; the
installtion complete successfully but I am not able to find mpich2 folder on
start menu and if I try the double click on the installation folder on the file
mpiexec nothing happened.
Could you help me?
Thank you in advance
Michele
