Hi,
You should be able to run your MPI jobs using MPICH2 on your cluster as long as all the machines are 64-bit (You should be good to go).
Let us know if you have problems.

Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich-discuss] windows clustering

Good afternoon,

I have one question regarding installation of MPICH2. I'm in the process of trying to set up an in-house cluster for running some FEA analysis.

I have three machines, all of which are operating on 64-bit Windows systems. Unfortunately I have one machine with each: XP, Vista, and Win 7.

Is it sufficient that all three machines are running 64-bit versions of Windows to be able to run MPICH2 - 1.2.1 or does your software require all three OS's to be the same?

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
