[mpich-discuss] Can I run MPI program without mpirun/mpiexec?

I believe Jayesh meant single process MPI jobs can be launched without
mpiexec/mpirun.

You can try using Hydra, instead of mpd, if you want to cross-compile
(configure option --with-pm=hydra).
