[mpich-discuss] make install issue

I made changes to both place Makefile.sm and Makefile.in in /src/env and it is working now. Thank you for your help Dave.

When working from a source tarball of MPICH2, you will need to make  
the change in "Makefile.in" and not "Makefile.sm", as I mentioned in  
my previous email.  I accidentally gave you the line number from the  
wrong file, sorry about that.  It should have been line 197 of  
Makefile.in.

If you have all the proper versions of the GNU autotools (autoconf/ 
automake/libtool) available, you can try to re-run ./maint/updatefiles  
to regenerate "Makefile.in" from "Makefile.sm".  But most people don't  
have this setup readily available.
