[mpich-discuss] Problem getting mpd working on a mac

MPICH2-1.3's default manager is hydra instead of mpd. Hydra does
not require you to launch the process manager before launching
your mpi apps.  Can you try that instead ?

What is the path of mpirun ?  Do you have an older mpich2 installation on
the machine ?
