[mpich-discuss] autoconf errors from svn code

All,

I'm trying to build MPICH2 from subversion but ./maint/updatefiles is
aborting with the following error.  Is this a known problem and what can
I do to get around it?

I'm using r5309 on an up-to-date debian machine with autoconf 2.64.
