[mpich-discuss] configure: error: cannot find sources (src/include/mpichconf.h.in) in . or ..

I svn'd mpich2-1.2 and mpich2-trunk tonight, instinctively did
"autoconf" to create the configure script, and upon invocation of
"./configure --help" got this error:
configure: error: cannot find sources (src/include/mpichconf.h.in) in . or ..

The procedure produced the error for both versions.  I queried the
archives of mpich-discuss for "src/include/mpichconf.h.in" and "cannot
find sources" but this revealed nothing relevant.

I run x86_64 Linux kernel 2.6.27.29-0.1-default and have SVN 1.6.3, M4
1.4.12 and autoconf 2.63 installed.  My suspicion is that I have the
wrong autoconf, since that caused issues before on Surveyor, but I'd
rather not guess-and-check my way to the right version again since I'm
using a different version of MPICH2 this time.
