[mpich-discuss] I have a MPICH2 question!!

A few suggestions for you to try:

1. Upgrade to the latest release of MPICH2 (version 1.2). MPICH2-1.0.8
is quite old.

2. Use the mpdcheck utility to see if there are any issues with your
network setup.

3. Alternatively, instead of mpd, you can just use the Hydra process
manager:

% mpiexec.hydra -f machinefile -n 20 ./foo
