[mpich-discuss] MPI software profiling

Hi all,
I have a few experience with MPI but I don't know nothing about
profiling and I would like to analyse my software performance.

I've heard about TAU profiling tool and I know that there exists the
Jumpshot tool distributed with MPICH and I know that I need to generate log
file to do this analysis.

I'm a little bit confused about how this tools can and should be used.
Is there any documentation on how to do this?
Anything you can point me will be useful.
