[mpich-discuss] MPICH on intel x86_64 core2 quad + fedora 10

Dear Sir,

I tried to reload the mpich2 again on the machine and followed the procedure
as per the installation guide.

Also, as per the earlier suggestion, I did the ./configure with the option
--with-device=ch3:nemesis

After exporting the PATH, I could successfully run,
which mpd,
which mpicc
which mpiexec
which mpirun

As per the further guidelines, I have created .mpd.conf file with a
secretword.
But now, I get following error when I do mpdtrace:

mpdtrace (mpdtrace 57): got eof on console

Possibly, I have committed some serious mistake somewhere. Please help me
regarding this.

Sincerely,
Dhiraj.
