[mpich-discuss] PMI documentation

Is the PMI interface documented anywhere?  I'm trying to write a new
client but other than the source code there doesn't seem to be any
documentation I can find.

There is a pdf in the source tree at
mpich2-1.1.1p1/doc/smpd/smpd_pmi.pdf however this seems to describe
something different, it's wasted a couple of hours of my time already.
