Hi,
 MPICH2 1.0.3 is an older version. Try downloading the latest version of
MPICH2  (1.0.7 - available at
http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2/downloads/index.php?s=down
loads ) and let us know if you still have problems.

Hi Everyone:
 
I am using MPICH2 1.0.3 x64 on Windows XP x64 edition and got the
following message just after the start of mpiexec.
 
job aborted:

MPIR_Init_thread(225)........: Initialization failed
MPID_Init(81).....................: channel initialization failed
MPIDI_CH3_Init(35)............: 
MPIDI_CH3I_Progress_init(305):
MPIDU_Sock_listen(903)....: unable to create a socket
easy_create(173)...............: WSASocket failed, An operation on a
socket could
not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space ort
because a 
queue was full. (errno 10055)
 
If I try to restart the smpd:
The same error message is shown again.
 
After I reboot the system, the symptom disappears.
 
But after running several parallel tasks, the error message appears again.
 
Does anyone know what is the problem about?
