[MPICH] Confused about compiling/using mpich2

This is unrelated to your "make testing" results but since
you explicitly configured MPE support, so I would like to point out
that GNU java, i.e. java-1.5.0-gcj-4.2-1.5.0.0, isn't ready
to run jumpshot (you need either SUN's or IBM's java development kit).
