[MPICH] Ring fails with lost rhs?

Hi there everyone:

We're trying to run an mpich2 project right now and are ending up with a 
crash on our ring every so often and the following message in 
/var/log/messages on the client machine:

Jan 26 14:15:34 ct49 mpd: ct49_33283 (handle_rhs_input 899): lost rhs; 
re-entering ring
Jan 26 14:15:39 ct49 python: mpdtrace (mpdtrace 41): got eof on console


Any ideas of what I should be looking for here to troubleshoot?
