[MPICH] mpirun issue on Windows XP

Hi,

I am new to mpi and am using mpich.nt.1.2.5 on a machine running Windows
XP Service Pack 2.  The problem I am having is when I execute mpirun I
get the following error message:

./mpi/mpirun -np 2 cpi.exe
Error 32, process 0, host Vertex:
     CreateFile failed: .\mpi3D.tmp
Wait for process 0 to write port to temporary file timed out

I am running everything from a Cygwin Xterm.  Anyone have an idea as to
what might be causing this error?
