This is a bug in MPICH2; thanks for bringing it to our attention.  It will 
be fixed in the next release.  In MPICH-1, the C++ interface is a 
third-party code (originally from the University of Notre Dame); we'll 
incorporate any change that they make, but I suspect this won't be fixed 
for MPICH-1.
