Hi! Folks.
When I install MOAB with HDF5 I have a problem to find libhdf5.so as follows.
-----------------------------------------------
> checking if HDF5 support is enabled... yes

> checking hdf5.h presence... yes
> checking for hdf5.h... yes

I used "configure" for installing with following information.
1. configure line
itaps:~/MOAB_DIR/moab-3.0.0> ./configure --with-hdf5=$HOME/5-1.8.2-linux-x86_64-shared --prefix=$HOME/MOAB
2. top-level hdf5 install directory
~/5-1.8.2-linux-x86_64-shared
3. status of libhdf5.so in my computer
itaps:~/5-1.8.2-linux-x86_64-shared/lib> ls -l
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hongjun collab 16 2009-05-06 16:00 libhdf5.so -> libhdf5.so.6.0.1
-rwxr-xr-x 1 hongjun collab 2977705 2008-11-11 12:58 libhdf5.so.6.0.1
Can anybody give me an advice why MOAB "configure" can not find libhdf5.so?
I also attached my config.log file.
Thank you.
Hong-Jun

Hmm, can you send the configure line you used and a listing of the
top-level hdf5 install directory? Also, send the output of config.log.
Finally, send these messages to moab-dev at mcs.anl.gov, so other moab
people see them.
