[hpc-announce] Submissions are open PEARC26 Rusty Lusk Travel Scholarship applications

Dear Colleagues -

I wanted to share a funding opportunity from the ACM Special Interest Group on High Performance Computing (SIGHPC, sighpc.org) for graduate students in our community who need financial support to attend PEARC26. Please share this with students and others in your network who interact with students.

The Ewing "Rusty" Lusk Travel Scholarship provides full conference registration plus up to $1,600 in travel reimbursement to help graduate students attend SIGHPC sponsored conferences who don't have institutional travel funding. We are accepting applications now for the PEARC26 conference.

Application deadline: June 5, 2026, 11:59 PM AoE

Important requirements:

   • Only one student per advisor can apply
   • No accepted paper required (students can apply before hearing back on submissions)
   • Students can only receive this scholarship once, and students may not combine this grant with any other SIGHPC-funded travel grant for PEARC26.

This is a great opportunity to support students who might otherwise miss this important conference due to funding constraints. Please share this with graduate students and encourage those who could benefit to check their eligibility and apply early.
