Dear Colleagues,
The 2nd International Conference on Sustainability, Innovation, and Society
(ICSIS 2026, https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://intelligent-systems.net/icsis2026/index.php__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!YiLZ4zR-q2d9iQ7MUs4GYzcXb2PqF7Vl1aCECwkRbqiD6enOygMSBDDsID-ToFv35FTx_HeRRn4RIYvU21Sejgg$ ) invites
researchers, practitioners, students, policymakers, and industry leaders to
propose high-impact workshops that create a focused venue for cutting-edge
discussion, collaboration, and community-building across the conference
themes of Sustainability, Innovation, and Society. Workshops may include
paper sessions, breakout discussions, and demos, and can be organized as
half-day or full-day events (please indicate your preferred format and
expected audience size).
Suggested themes
We welcome workshop proposals aligned with (and bridging) the three main
tracks:

*Sustainability* (e.g., sustainable technology/AI, health, education,
energy, environment, agriculture, business, policy)
-
*Innovation* (e.g., digital transformation, GenAI/agents/copilots,
living labs, entrepreneurship, innovation policy and scaling)
-
*Society* (e.g., human-centered AI, governance/law/policy,
ethics/equity, smart cities/civic tech, misinformation, future of work,
culture/heritage)
Evaluation criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on: *(1)* potential to generate new
results/collaborations, *(2)* interactive format and community interest,
and *(3)* timeliness and research significance.
Proposal requirements (single PDF)
Submit *one PDF (up to 4 pages)* including:
1.
Workshop title
2.
Organizers (names, affiliations, emails, phones; attendance likelihood)
3.
Technical description (scope/topics/activities; “why now”)
4.
Format & resources (half/full day, expected attendance/room size,
special needs)
5.
Tentative PC & participant/presenter selection process
6.
Tentative CFP + timeline (submissions/notifications; possible
speakers/keynotes)
7.
If applicable, history of prior editions (venues/URLs/attendance)
8.
Short organizer bios highlighting relevant expertise

Organizer responsibilities
Workshop organizers are expected to handle: outreach/advertising beyond the
main ICSIS channels, workshop website creation/maintenance, peer review
coordination, and on-site moderation/schedule management.
