The 2nd International Workshop on Systems and Methods for Sustainable Large-Scale AI (GreenSys 2026), colocated with EuroSys 2026, is the premier forum for disseminating the latest advances in sustainable AI, future systems and methods for AI, and sustainable computing. In 2026, GreenSys will host its second edition in Edinburgh, Scotland, colocated with EuroSys 2026, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders from across the globe to explore innovations shaping the future of sustainable AI technologies.

Call for Papers

We invite original, high-quality papers that address fundamental research and emerging challenges across a broad spectrum of large-scale sustainable AI and applications. Submissions may focus on theoretical foundations, system design, benchmarking, measurements, implementation, or real-world deployments. We particularly encourage contributions from work-in-progress research or early results from your projects. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

(*) Analysis of the environmental impact of AI (Energy, Water, and Carbon Footprints, etc..)

+ Submissions must be formatted as PDF files using the latest ACM sigconf proceedings template (10-pt font, double-column) and must not exceed 6 pages
+ Author and reviewer anonymity: All submissions need to be double-blind.
+ Submitted papers must represent original unpublished research that is not currently under review for any other conference or journal.
+ Accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library, part of the EuroSys workshop proceedings.
