# Call for Participation

We will present the tutorial

Large-Scale Data Version Control for HPC and HTC with Git and DataLad

at the ISC-HPC conference in Hamburg on June 22.

It will teach how to do data version control for large datasets in HPC environments. It uses git to provide a version history for data in the same way everyone is familiar with for code. And it uses DataLad on top of git to provide machine-actionable (i.e. fully automatic) reproducibility. It includes hands-on parts where we invite you to try all the steps on a JSC / FZ Jülich cluster (will provide tutorial accounts) or any HPC cluster with Slurm where you have an account already.

See the tutorial web page [1] for more details as well as the ISC tutorial page [2]. If you are interested, include the tutorial in your ISC registration. For any questions upfront find the presenter's contacts at [1].

Best, Adina S. Wagner and Andreas Knüpfer
