Call for Late-Breaking-Results

For the first time, MEMSYS presents the community with an opportunity to submit novel and captivating contributions for consideration as Late Breaking Results (LBR) papers. LBR papers should encompass novel research pertinent to the MEMSYS topics. Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit Late Breaking Results papers (adhering to the customary MEMSYS formats) detailing original and innovative work. Authors are requested to utilize the template provided on the MEMSYS website, employing a blind submission process. LBR submission titles must commence with 'Late Breaking Results: …'. To foster a successful LBR session, the LBR submissions will undergo a peer-review process (blind review) akin to that of conventional conference papers, conducted by a memory-centric TPC committee. Accepted LBR submissions will be presented during the MEMSYS conference, facilitating live interactions surrounding the submitted work to facilitate feedback exchange with the MEMSYS community.

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including those related to artificial intelligence (AI). Memory systems and AI are intrinsically linked, and our special call seeks submissions that focus on enhancing AI performance through advanced memory architectures and leveraging AI to optimize memory systems. This includes, but is not limited to,

specialized memory architectures (e.g., HBM, PIM) for AI workloads,
memory and cache optimization for deep learning (e.g., optimizing GPU memory hierarchies),
persistent memory for energy-efficient AI inference/training and large-scale AI models,
AI-driven scheduling, caching, prefetching, data placement, and self-tuning of memory control
interdisciplinary areas: neuromorphic computing, novel memory technology, secure memory enclaves
distributed memory for federated learning and energy-constrained memory for edge AI
