The annual GPUs for Science Day event organized by the NERSC compute
center at Berkeley Lab is evolving and will now be called HPC
Horizons. This evolution reflects the event's focus on exploring the
future of high-performance computing (HPC) through the lens of both
cutting-edge technology and the diverse community driving its
advancement.

In the morning session, we will discuss strategies for reaching and
engaging broader audiences in HPC and highlight the importance of
promoting a more inclusive environment within the HPC community. The
afternoon session will examine the benefits and challenges of creating
a more heterogeneous computing environment and running successfully
across systems composed of hardware architectures from different
vendors.

Join us in person on February 12 at Berkeley Lab for HPC Horizons 2025
- Science, Technology and Community Showcase: Accelerating Diversity
in HPC. It'll be an engaging and insightful look at what's to come in
HPC. The event is open to everyone and registration is free.
