CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: IEEE ARITH 2025 and ARITH Summer School
We are excited to invite you to the 32nd IEEE International Symposium on Computer Arithmetic (ARITH 2025), scheduled for May 4–7, 2025, at the University of Texas at El Paso. This conference brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest advancements in computer arithmetic, a field integral to innovations in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, signal processing, and security.

* Participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and
meals.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Academic Level: Applicants are welcome from all academic levels,
including current undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students.
* Research Focus: The Summer School is open to students from all
disciplines, but preference will be given to those whose area of
study and statement of interest align with the themes of the
ARITH conference.

* Resume: Submit a current 2-page-max resume that includes
academic achievements, publications, research experience, and
relevant skills.
* Statement of Interest: Write a 500-word statement explaining
your motivation for attending the summer school, particularly
how it will contribute to your current work and professional
goals.
* Letter of Recommendation (optional): Submit one letter of
recommendation from an academic supervisor or professor familiar
with your work. It should be sent directly to the program (at
summerschool.recommendations at arith2025.org).
Application Deadline:
* Applications are open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
* All application materials must be submitted by March 15, 2025.
* Late applications are not guaranteed to be reviewed.
Notification of Acceptance:
* Applicants will be notified via email by March 20, 2025.
Participation Confirmation:
* Upon acceptance, participants will need to confirm their
attendance within two weeks of receiving the acceptance email
and submit any additional documentation required by the
organizers.
Pre-Arrival Preparation:
* Accepted students will receive a detailed program schedule,
reading materials, and logistics information (campus map and
meeting room) about two weeks before the start of the Summer
School.

Tentative Schedule:
* The Summer School will start at 9 AM on May 1 and run from 9 AM
to 5-5:30 PM on both days.
* The program will include a mix of lectures and hands-on
activities/workshops over two full days.
* An urban hike is planned for the start of Day 2, allowing
participants to discover the city and its fascinating history.
