Call for participation: 3-day AMD Tools Workshop (Feb 11-13, 2025)

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and the University of Oregon's School of Computer and Data Sciences are excited to offer a 3-day workshop located in Eugene, Oregon, USA.  The purpose of the workshop is to enable attendees to optimize their applications to harness the full potential of the latest AMD Instinct series MI300A hardware. The 3-day workshop will take place in-person at the University of Oregon.  It will be preceded by a virtual training conducted a week (or two) prior which covers basic training on profiling and tracing using AMD tools and TAU, as well as other topics of interest to the participants. 

We expect approximately 8-10 teams of participants, each consisting of 3-5 members.  Participants will be selected based on review of a short proposal.  These proposals are due November 15, 2024.
