Description
----------------------------------
The Doctoral Showcase at SC24 provides a unique platform for PhD students nearing the completion of their doctoral program to present a comprehensive summary of their dissertation research. It offers an opportunity to showcase the entirety of their PhD work, including previously published results, through a poster presentation and a short talk. PhD students can present their extensive dissertation research, network with possible employers, and gain knowledge of cutting-edge high-performance computing projects at the Doctoral Showcase. The Doctoral Showcase is open to PhD students who plan to graduate by December 2025.
A "Thesis Canvas" (poster), a list of relevant research artifacts (publications, software, etc.), and an abstract (250 words) are required for submission. The poster format permits multimedia components (videos, websites, etc.) to be embedded using QR codes. While the final version of the poster might be altered later, a draft version must be submitted. Accepted entries will be given the opportunity to showcase their work with a poster display and in a special Doctoral Showcase session at SC24. For accepted applications, the Technical Consortium on High Performance Computing (TCHPC) may offer a portion of the travel expenses.
