CALL FOR PAPERS - DEADLINE EXTENDED
Track on Computing Tools for Decision Science, part of the Decision Science Alliance International Summer Conference (DSA ISC'24).
Valencia, Spain. June 6-7, 2024.
NOTE: Paper Submission DEADLINE EXTENDED to: March 7th 2024
This track will focus on innovative computing methodologies and tools that enhance decision making capabilities in different fields.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES:
We welcome SHORT PAPERS (6 papers), or FULL PAPERS (up to 15 pages). Both short and full papers that are accepted will be published in SPRINGER LECTURE NOTES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (LNCS). Notice that Springer only allows a maximum of 2 papers per author in any LNCS volume. In addition, extended versions of the best papers will also be invited for linked Special Issues of indexed journals.
TOPICS OF INTEREST:
We welcome submissions on a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
- Applications of AI and machine learning in decision science
- Modeling and simulation techniques, tools, and platforms for decision support
- Digital twins for decision making
- High performance computing for urgent decision making
- Computational models and decision support systems
- Advanced algorithms for optimization and data analytics
- Integration of robotics and automation in decision processes
- Development and application of decision science software
- Applications to fields such as transportation, smart cities, road traffic, logistics, production and manufacturing, energy systems, telecommunications systems, healthcare, disaster response, climate change, environmental challenges, societal challenges, finance, etc.
KEY DATES:

* March 22: acceptance notification
* April 15: camera-ready papers
* April 30: early bird registration
* June 6-7: conference

REGISTRATION FEES:
Thanks to the contribution of industrial sponsors such as Coca-Cola, Guy Carpenter, Divina Pastora, and others, we have been able to keep registration fees down to a moderate level (around 300 euros for speakers and just 100 euros if they are PhD students).
