HPC Asia 2024 welcomes the submission of workshop proposals. HPC Asia
will hold up to four workshops at the same venue of the conference in
the morning of Jan 25, 2024.
Through technical presentations, invited talks and/or panels, we hope
those workshops will provide a great opportunity to establish wide and
deep discussions among attendees.

* Proposal Format

Each proposal must include the following information:
   - Title of the workshop (Full name and Abbreviation)
   - Objectives, scope, and contribution to the main conference (up to 1 page)
   - Short bio of the key organizer
   - Procedure for selecting papers
   - Expected number of participants
   - A tentative list of program committee members
   - The workshop website URL address

* Proposal Submission

Please submit the proposal as a PDF file attached to the email to the
following address:
   hpcasia2024-ws at sighpc.ipsj.or.jp

* Schedule

  - Proposal deadline: Jun 30, 2023
  - Notification of selection: Jul 20, 2023
  - Workshop day: Jan 25, 2024

* Workshop facility

HPC Asia 2024 will prepare one room for each accepted workshop. The
room capacity is 42 to 54. The time slot for each workshop is 210 min
from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Jan 25. Projector and screen will be
prepared in each workshop room.

HPC Asia 2024 requires all presenters, including workshop presenters,
to present in person. However, organizers may hold the workshop in a
hybrid format that allows for remote viewing. HPC Asia 2024 cannot
provide the equipment or online meeting rooms needed for a hybrid
format. Organizers must make their own arrangements.

* Organizer's due

Each accepted organizer is responsible on the successful workshop
management including following tasks:
  - Send call for papers to appropriate mailing addresses.
  - Open a web-site of the workshop to show the place, the time and
the program of the workshop.
  - Manage full reviewing process of submitted papers.
  - Attend the workshop in person and operate the workshop.

Conference proceedings will not include workshop papers. Therefore,
publication method of the papers and/or the presentation materials of
the workshop should be prepared by the organizer.

* Information about fees

All HPC Asia 2024 attendees will be able to attend workshops without
any additional payment.
Therefore, there is no option of "Workshop Only" registration in HPC
Asia 2024. Also, there will be no financial support such as
registration fee of the conference or travel fee to the workshop
organizers.
