WISE 2024 - Main Track / PhD Symposium / Demos - 1st Calls for Papers
The 25th International conference on Web Information Systems Engineering
(WISE 2024):
The year 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the International conference
on Web Information Systems Engineering which will be held at Qatar
University (in Doha, Qatar), on 25-28 November 2024. WISE is a class A
conference that has consistently consolidated its position over the
years, as among the top conferences in the research areas around the
Web, Data and Knowledge Management, and Information Systems.
WISE-2024 promises to be a special edition, as it will offer a rich
scientific program involving special tracks on important and trendy
research topics, demos, a PhD symposium for the junior scholars,
workshops, as well as thought-provoking keynotes by high-profile
researchers from top universities and corporations such as Microsoft,
Google, Meta and an industrial exhibition on the Web to celebrate this
25th anniversary.
Scope
We welcome special track proposals in the broad area of the Web, Data
and knowledge management, and Information systems. Please refer to the
conference webpage www.wise2024-qatar.com for examples of relevant topics.

Abstract Submission : 20 June, 2024
Full Paper Submission : 30 June, 2024
Paper Notification : August 30, 2024
Camera-Ready Submission: September 07, 2024.
Paper Submission Guidelines
Papers should be submitted in PDF format. The results described must be
unpublished and must not be under review elsewhere. Submissions must
conform to Springer’s LNCS format and should not exceed 15 pages (8
pages for Demos and Posters), including all text, figures, references,
and appendices. Submissions not conforming to the LNCS format, exceeding
15 pages, or being obviously out of the scope of the conference, will be
rejected without review. Information about the Springer LNCS format can
be found at Springer. Three to five keywords characterizing the paper
should be indicated at the end of the abstract. All papers should be
submitted via Easychair.
Special issues in Journals
A selection of accepted papers will be invited to submit an extended
version for publication in:
ACM Transactions on the Web (TWEB).
Springer Computing Journal.
Springer WWW Journal.
